Hot Pastrami Sandwich


    • 2 slices rye bread
    • 2 slices Swiss cheese
    • ¼ lb Hahn’s Pastrami, sliced
    • 2 Tablespoons sauerkraut
    • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
    • 2 Tablespoons butter


    1. Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the other side of each slice, spread mustard.
    2. In a flattop pan over medium-high heat, place buttered side of bread down.
    3. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on each slice of bread and cook until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
    4. While bread is toasting, place sliced pastrami and sauerkraut into 2 separate piles on the flattop. Cook until warmed through, around 2 minutes.
    5. Add warmed pastrami and sauerkraut onto one slice of toasted bread and place the other slice on top, cheese side down.
    6. Serve and enjoy!
